DIM-Diindolylmethane (0438)

DIM-Diindolylmethane

Dim-Diindolymethane:  This plant compound is found in cabbage, brussel sprouts and broccoli. Throughout the centuries these vegetables were used medicinally. More recently broccoli was found to have properties that fight certain cancers.

What happens precisely is uncertain but the sex hormones are in a different balance when this is added to one's diet. When the above vegetables are eaten in a raw state, enzymes are activated, allowing DIM to enter to the cells and the benefits then begin.

Because such a large amount would have to be eaten for these effects, this supplement is a answer to that. The great antioxidant effects begin when DIM is consumed regularly.  Heart and the brain benefit greatly from this antioxidant activity.

While these hormones are brought into greater balance in the body, the opposite happens with the "bad" estrogen levels that are responsible for the breast cancers, uterine cancer and the unwanted weight gain, as those hormone levels are reduced. To have high, active levels of the sex hormones, it can contribute to a healthy, physical condition.

Adverse Side Effects:    Use caution when considering adding this supplement to your diet if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, nursing or are taking immunosuppresive medications.
